In the Arzgirskoye, Krasnogvardeyskoye, Ipatovsky, and Budennovsky districts, vegetables have already been planted on 309 hectares. The delivery of potatoes has been completed on 692 hectares. This year, it is planned to allocate 6.2 thousand hectares for potatoes and 3.2 thousand hectares for vegetables. State support for agriculture will amount to 63.4 million rubles, of which 11.4 million have already been allocated for seed material.

Researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison have developed a postbiotic supplement SCFP that reduces the presence of Salmonella in poultry and improves gut microbiota. The results have shown a significant decrease in the number of pathogens, which could reduce the risk of infection in humans and improve the health of poultry.

In 2012, a 13-year quarantine against the golden potato nematode started in the Novgorod region. Special measures were taken, such as crop rotation and cultivation of resistant potato varieties. Now the first zone has been released from the quarantine, but there are still three zones covering a total area of 2432.8 hectares. Nematodes are being fought with crop rotation and planting cabbage.

A mobile application is being implemented for insurance expertise. The Ministry of Agriculture has developed a "Roadmap" for integrating private weather stations into the Roshydromet system. Several regions have already been connected in pilot projects, and another connection is being considered.

In the Tambov region, spring field work has begun. According to the "Online Tambov.ru" portal, the Mordovian and Tambov municipal districts were the first to start sowing spring crops: barley, peas, and grass. This year, the sowing started earlier than last year. It is planned to increase the sowing area to 1.9 million hectares by 2025. The quality of seeds is guaranteed to be at a high level.
