Growing broilers and producing eggs in the village of Sokovninka

Farmer Nikita Ruzanov from the Samara region has received a grant to develop his poultry farming. His goal is to produce 110 chicken eggs per day. He currently has 700 laying hens which produce an average of 550 eggs per day. The task for the current year is to double the number of eggs. Additionally, the farmer raises 350 broilers that are sold in various weight categories.

Farmer Nikita Ruzanov is engaged in poultry farming in the village of Sokovninka, Borsky district, Samara region. He raises meat broilers and keeps laying hens. In 2022, he received an Agrostartup grant to organize his farm. His current goal is to reach the production of 110 chicken eggs daily.

The Agrostartup grant is provided within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives,” implemented by decision of President Vladimir Putin. The farmer used the allocated funds to purchase poultry production facilities and an incubator, as well as to introduce a humane approach to poultry farming.

Currently, the farm has 700 laying hens, which produce an average of 550 eggs daily. The goal for the current year is to double the number of eggs to meet market demand.

The number of broilers in Sokovninka is 350 heads. The ripening period for meat is up to 55 days. Young carcasses weighing half a kilo, popular tobacco chickens weighing 800-900 grams, as well as mature birds aged 55 days, weighing from 3 to 3.5 kilograms are available for sale.
