In the upcoming month, there is a possibility of increasing the rental rate for grain carriers provided by the branch "Center for Transport Logistics" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia". This statement was made by Valeriy Tkachev, the deputy director of the transport technology and commercial department of the company, during an online meeting with participants of the agricultural market held on May 23. "Today we notice a significant increase in demand for our wagons. We are currently loading around 250 wagons per day on average. Yesterday, for example, we loaded over 400 CTL wagons. This is a record for the last two months. I believe we are observing high demand for our CTL wagons," V. Tkachev emphasized.

In this regard, he noted that next month the rental rate for using CTL grain carriers may increase considering this trend.

It is important to mention that in April and May, the rental rate for grain carriers was 1100 UAH per day excluding value-added tax.
