Increase in corn seed exports from Kabardino-Balkaria by 25% in 2024.

Rosselkhoznadzor notes an increase in corn seed exports from the Kabardino-Balkar Republic: 800.5 tons to Belarus and Kazakhstan (+25% compared to last year) and 6 tons to Armenia. Within Russia, exports have increased by 8.6% - from 1645.1 to 1786.8 tons. Each batch of seeds undergoes inspection and meets safety requirements.

The North Caucasus interregional department of the Rosselkhoznadzor notes an increase in the supply of seeds from the Kabardino-Balkar Republic in the first two months of 2024. In January and February, 800.5 tons of corn seeds were sent to Belarus and Kazakhstan, which is 25% more than last year for the same period. In addition, 6 tons of corn seeds were delivered to Armenia for the first time. Wholesale deliveries within Russia have also increased - from 1645.1 tons last year to 1786.8 tons this year, representing an 8.6% growth. Rosselkhoznadzor specialists select samples of each batch of corn seeds and send them to the testing laboratory of the Kabardino-Balkar branch of the North Caucasus branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Assessment of Grain Safety and Quality". All the seed material being shipped meets the phytosanitary requirements of the Russian Federation and importing countries.
