Harvesting in the Stavropol region: 35% of the area has been threshed with a harvest of 2.7 million tons of grain - details from the minister.

On June 28, almost 788.8 thousand hectares or 35% of the total harvesting area were harvested in all categories of economic entities in the region. The volume of harvested grain amounted to 2.7 million tons with an average yield of 34.8 centners per hectare, as reported by the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Krai, Sergey Izmalkov, in his Telegram channel.

Agricultural enterprises in the Arzgir district are actively harvesting fields, having harvested 64% of the harvesting area. In the Trunovsk district, 58% of the harvesting area has been harvested.

The best yield results were recorded in agricultural organizations in the following districts:

• In the first agro-climatic zone - in the Apanasenkovsky and Levokumsky districts, 33.5 and 31.2 centners per hectare, respectively;
• In the second zone - in the Kursk and Budennovsk districts, 35.5 and 32.2 centners per hectare, respectively;
• In the third zone - in the Kochubeysky and Novoalexandrovsky districts, 54.8 and 62.4 centners per hectare, respectively;
• In the fourth zone - in the Kirovsky and Predgorny districts, 34.5 and 45.2 centners per hectare, respectively.
