Tunisia bought 200 thousand tons of wheat at the tender

The Tunisian State Agency has purchased 100,000 tons of soft wheat and durum wheat. A portion of the soft wheat (25,000 tons) was bought from Viterra at a price of $259.86 per ton C&F, while the remaining 75,000 tons were purchased from Grainflower at a price of $260 per ton C&F. The durum wheat was contracted in batches of 25,000 tons each from Viterra, Casillo, and Amber at prices of $418.33, $419.68/$425.89, and $426 per ton C&F respectively. The grain delivery is scheduled for August.

According to market operators, the Tunisian state agency for the purchase of food ODC, following the results of the tender, contracted 100,000 tons of soft wheat and durum wheat.

As specified, the importer purchased soft wheat from Viterra operators - 25,000 tons at $259.86 per ton of C&F and Grainflower - 75,000 tons at $260 per ton of C&F.

Durum wheat was contracted in batches of 25 thousand tons each from Viterra - 1 batch at a price of $418.33 per ton C&F, Casillo - 2 batches at $419.68 and $425.89 per ton C&F and Amber - 1 batch at $426 per ton C&F.

Under the terms of the tender, the supply of grain should be made in August this year.
