In 2024, the last project to be implemented will be "Agricultural Financing" in Kyrgyzstan. The Head of the Ministry of Water Resources and Agriculture, Bakyt Torobaev, announced this on February 28 at the "Agroforum" in response to farmers' requests. As a result of discussions, there is a consideration to reduce the interest rate on the project from 12% to 10%. This information was published by Akchabar. Torobaev specified that the rate for the project "Agricultural Complex Financing" will remain at 6%, and a separate project will be developed for farmers involving the consolidation of cooperatives. It is expected that the government will provide support to farmers on issues of drip irrigation and land use through mobile technical stations, with a provision for lowering interest rates. Currently, the project on these matters is in the development stage, according to the minister.
