Exports of key crops from Argentina fell significantly in 2023 due to low harvests blamed on drought.
Exports of soybeans decreased by 39% to 23.6 million tons, corn by 33% to 24.3 million tons, and wheat by 76% to 3.6 million tons.
However, analysts at the Rosario Grain Exchange predict an increase in next season's harvest, based on forecasts of 14.5 million tons of wheat, 50 million tons of soybeans and 56 million tons of corn.
