Rate Reduction: Ukrzaliznytsia has approved new prices for renting freight cars and tank wagons.

Starting from May 1, 2024, the rent rate for grain wagons on the Ukrainian railway will be reduced from 1100 to 100 UAH per day.

The cost of tank cars for product transportation will also decrease to 1400 UAH per day, while for type 972 wagons it will remain at 1450 UAH per day.

Flatcars will increase in price to 1400 UAH per day.

According to the information posted on the website of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", starting from May 1, 2024, the rent rate for grain wagons owned by the company will be reduced to 100 UAH per day (excluding VAT). This means a decrease from the current 1100 UAH per day rate that was in effect in April of this year.

Furthermore, the cost of using food tankers for transportation will also be significantly reduced next month to 1400 UAH per day, compared to the current 2200 UAH per day rate that was applicable in April.

On the other hand, the rate for using wagons for transporting type 972 flour in May will remain at the same level as the previous month, amounting to 1450 UAH per day.

Meanwhile, the rent rate for a flatcar will be increased to 1400 UAH per day next month, compared to April when the rate was 1300 UAH per day.
