In the Oryol region, sugar factories have harvested and processed over 1 million tons of fresh sugar beets from the 2024 harvest, according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

Four enterprises have completed these tasks: LLC "Sugar Plant" Kolpnyansky", JSC "Otradin Sugar Plant", LLC "Livny SUGAR" and LLC "Zalegozhensky Sugar Plant".

As of October 9, 2024, 1001.5 thousand tons of beets have been harvested, of which 935.4 thousand tons have been processed. This has resulted in the production of 141.3 thousand tons of sugar.
