In the previous season, sugar factories in the Vinnytsia region produced 442 thousand tons of sugar, which is 23% more than the previous year. The volume of raw material processing also increased, reaching over 3.1 million tons of sugar beet, which is 28% more than the previous year. An increase in the area of beet cultivation in Ukraine by 10-20% is projected, which will lead to an increase in sugar production to 2 million tons per year. Currently, Ukraine produces about 1.8 million tons of sugar, with domestic consumption amounting to 900 thousand tons.

Raw material processing volumes also increased significantly and amounted to more than 3.1 million tons of sugar beets, which is 28% more than last year.

Experts predict an increase in the area under sugar beets in Ukraine by 10-20% next year, which will lead to an increase in sugar production to 2 million tons per year.

Currently, about 1.8 million tons of sugar are produced in Ukraine, and domestic consumption is 900 thousand tons.
