Russia is doubling the tariff on sunflower meal while maintaining zero duty on oil.

The export tariff rate on sunflower meal in Russia will increase from 901.3 to 1870 rubles per ton in August, while the tariff on sunflower oil will remain at zero level for 15 months. Tariffs depend on indicative prices: $211.2 per ton for meal and $798.3 per ton for oil.

In August of the current year, the export duty rate on sunflower meal in the Russian Federation will be doubled and will amount to about 1870 rubles per ton, compared to the current level of 901.3 rubles per ton. At the same time, the export duty on sunflower oil will remain at zero level for fifteen consecutive months, according to information from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

As noted by the department, the tariff rate for sunflower meal in August will be set based on the indicative price of $211.2 per ton (in July it was $198.6 per ton).

The tariff rate for exporting sunflower oil is calculated based on the indicative price of $798.3 per ton (in July it was $773.3 per ton).
