Fiber flax was harvested from 31.4 thousand hectares (32.8 thousand hectares).
Sunflower was threshed from 7.2 million hectares (4.4 million hectares), 13.2 million tons (8 million tons) were collected with a yield of 18.3 c/ha (18 c/ha). Rapeseed was harvested from 2 million hectares (2.1 million hectares), 4.3 million tons (4.4 million tons) were threshed, the yield was 21.6 c/ha (21 c/ha). Soybeans were threshed from 2.6 million hectares (1.9 million hectares), 5.5 million tons (3.7 million tons) were harvested with a yield of 20.8 c/ha (19.1 c/ha).
Agricultural enterprises and farmers dug up potatoes from 269.7 thousand hectares (240.5 thousand hectares), collected 7.5 million tons (5.9 million tons), the yield was 279.7 c/ha (246.7 c/ha ). Vegetables were harvested from 147.7 thousand hectares (141.4 thousand hectares), 4.5 million tons (3.7 million tons) were collected with a yield of 304 c/ha (in 2022 - 264.6 c/ha) . Winter crops were sown on 16.3 million hectares compared to 15.8 million hectares as of October 20 last year.
As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with the head of the transitional government of Pakistan, Anwar Ul-Haq Kakar in Beijing on October 17, said that the grain harvest in the Russian Federation this year will be 137-138 million tons. In 2022, 157.7 million tons of grain were harvested.
