At the beginning of December, Kazakhstan has the following grain reserves:
- Wheat: 12.296 million tons, of which 9.133 million tons are in storage of food wheat, 807.5 thousand tons in the seed fund and 2.355 million tons in feed.
- Barley: 1.954 million tons, including 795 thousand tons of food barley, 153 thousand tons of seeds and 1 million tons of feed barley.
- Corn: 279.9 thousand tons.
- Rice: 295 thousand tons.
- Rye: 25 thousand tons.
- Oats: 156 thousand tons.
- Buckwheat: 95.8 thousand tons.
It is also noted that food reserves of grain amount to 10.669 million tons, seeds - 1.056 million tons and fodder - 3.701 million tons. Wheat reserves in the storage facilities of agricultural producers amount to more than 4.429 million tons, in elevators - 3.703 million tons, in farms - 2.2 million tons, and at wholesalers - 160.5 thousand tons. The reserves of flour millers amounted to 909 thousand tons, and those of other legal entities - 810 thousand tons.
