Poland is planning to restrict the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.

Poland is planning to restrict the import of agricultural products from Ukraine, such as sugar, poultry meat, eggs, butter, raspberries, and apple juice. The goal is to reach an agreement with Ukraine to replace the national embargo and protect the market. Tighter border controls are planned.

Poland has identified a list of agricultural products, the import of which from Ukraine should be restricted. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of Poland, Cheslav Sekersky, during his speech in the country's parliament, as reported on the official website of the ministry. "Our goal is to reach a bilateral agreement with Ukraine that would effectively replace the national embargo on grain imports and expand market protection measures for other sensitive products," the minister said. He also noted that among the products considered sensitive for Poland are sugar, poultry meat, eggs, sunflower and rapeseed oil, as well as frozen raspberries and apple juice. "We intend to impose significant restrictions on the import of sensitive goods from Ukraine, including a more detailed and controlled process at the border," added Minister Sekersky.
