Agricultural enterprises of the Kaluga region are preparing for spring sowing on an area of 169.6 thousand hectares. Grain and legume crops will be sown on 107.6 thousand hectares. A total of 13.8 thousand tons of seeds are required, of which 9 thousand tons have already been purchased and sown. Additionally, 6.2 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers have been purchased. The sowing process is crucial for successful crop yield and profitability of agricultural enterprises. Supporting this industry is a priority for the Kaluga region.

Agricultural enterprises in the Kaluga region are actively preparing for the spring sowing season. This year it is planned to sow spring crops on an area of 169.6 thousand hectares.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kaluga Region, grain and leguminous crops will be sown on 107.6 thousand hectares. To carry out sowing work on such an area, 13.8 thousand tons of seed and planting material will be required. At the moment, 9 thousand tons have already been purchased and filled, which is 65% of the planned volume.

In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kaluga Region reported that 6.2 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were purchased, which is 15% of the planned volume.
