According to data from the China National Grain and Oil Information Center (CNGOIC), the volume of soybean processing in China in the period from January 13 to 19 increased by 5% compared to the previous week and amounted to 1.7 million tons. This figure also exceeds the results of the same period last year by 46%.
In addition, it is noted that as of January 19, the country's soybean meal inventories are estimated at 1 million tons, which is an increase of 5% for the week, 12% for the month and twice as much as a year ago. Soybean oil inventories are 870 thousand tons, down 2% for the week, 5% for the month and up 21% year over year.
