In the Tambov region, authorized representatives have sown 95% of the planned spring crops, which amounts to more than 1.3 million hectares, according to information provided by the "Novy Vek" publishing house.

Despite temperature deviations in May, the sowing campaign has faced some negative consequences: 109.2 thousand hectares of growing crops suffered irreparable damage, while 168.3 thousand hectares were affected. Seedlings of February wheat, peas, sugar beets, and rapeseed were affected. However, taking into account the agronomic deadlines, the reseeding process has already begun.

Maksim Egorov emphasized the region's readiness with necessary materials, such as seeds, fertilizers, lubricants, fuel, and specialized equipment.

The Minister of Agriculture Alena Sytova announced that farmers have managed to replant 73% of the destroyed plants, while preserving the most essential structure for the main crops.
