It has been reported that Cuba is considering the possibility of concluding deals for exports of grain from the Rostov region. This was announced by Oleg Shashlov, director of the Rostov branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Grain Quality Evaluation Center."
According to Shashlov, Cuba does not produce wheat and is entirely dependent on its import to meet its needs. Therefore, the export of Russian wheat to this country, known for its high quality, has great potential.
Shashlov noted that all wheat supplied from the Rostov region meets the requirements of the Cuban side. He also highlighted Cuba's interest in corn supplies, as it is one of the grain crops widely used in the Cuban market.
The director of the Rostov branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Grain Quality Evaluation Center" also noted Cuba's interest in the export of oils produced in the Rostov region.
He concluded his speech expressing hope for successful negotiation development and increased exports in the near future.
