Governor Andrey Travnikov has studied the progress of preparing the agro-industrial complex of the Novosibirsk region for the spring field works. The goal is to continue the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Novosibirsk region, ensuring positive growth in all production and quality indicators. We are not focusing on last year, which was challenging due to weather conditions, but looking at the successful years of 2022 and 2021. Our goal is to achieve progress and continue to develop," emphasized the head of the region. The Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk region, Yevgeny Leshchenko, informed the governor about the situation in the region's agro-industrial complex. The arable land area in the region is 1 million 256 thousand hectares, which is 60% of the area under spring crops, which will be 2 million 91 thousand hectares this year. The total sown area in 2024 should exceed 2 million 360 thousand hectares. There is a sufficient supply of seed material. There are 311 thousand tons of grain and legume seeds, which covers 103.5% of the needs. The availability of seed material for potatoes and vegetables is 110%, for fodder crops - 100%. This year, special attention is being paid to promoting the best achievements of Russian, particularly Siberian breeding. Work on accumulating mineral fertilizers has been intensified. In 2024, 99 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were purchased, taking into account the stocks of agricultural producers, there are 106 thousand tons, which is 60% of the demand. In the last week, 20 thousand tons were purchased, which is a significant increase compared to previous years. Agricultural organizations in the Chulym, Kargat, Dovolensky, Kochkovsky, and Kochenevsky districts are fully supplied with fertilizers. There is an intensification of technical renewal in the industry: since the beginning of the year, 123 units of agricultural machinery have been purchased, including 34 units in the past week. The total amount spent on acquiring new equipment is 840 million rubles, and the amount of subsidies for this direction since the beginning of the year is 705 million rubles. The highest pace of equipment renewal to date has been achieved in the Cherepanovsky, Krasnozersky, Ordynsky, Novosibirsk, and Vengerovsky districts. The comprehensive readiness of equipment is 94%. In February, agricultural producers received 742 million rubles of state support from the regional budget, and in March, another 703 million rubles of support is planned to be transferred.
