Loading of grain for export through the Russian Railways network increased in January-September 2023 compared to the same period last year by 1.9 times, amounting to more than 16.6 million tons, the company reports.
Including 10.6 million tons of grain were sent through port stations (an increase of 2.4 times by January-September 2023), and through border crossings - 6 million tons (an increase of 1.4 times).
In just 9 months, grain loading through the Russian Railways network increased by 42.8%, to 23.2 million tons. The largest volumes of grain loading since the beginning of the year have been recorded: in the Kursk region (1.99 million tons, +38.3%), in the Stavropol Territory (1.97 million tons, +45.9%), in the Saratov region (1.8 million tons, an increase of 1.7 times), in the Volgograd region (1.7 million tons, an increase of 1.7 times) and in the Lipetsk region (1.5 million tons, an increase of 1.8 times).
Grain loading on the Russian Railways network in September increased by 30% compared to September last year and amounted to 2.9 million tons.
