Agrosila has successfully completed the sugar beet harvest, fully meeting the production plan, as reported by Sfera. To achieve this result, the harvest took place from August 22 to November 7, and it was possible to collect 1.347 million tons of beets from a total area of 29,495 hectares. More than 85% of the crop was harvested before the onset of negative temperatures. It is expected that the average sugar content will be 18.3%.
The processing of beets is carried out by a plant named "Zainsky Sugar," which daily accepts more than 10,000 tons of raw materials. The plan is to process 1.241 million tons of beets and produce 197.4 thousand tons of sugar, 50.3 thousand tons of molasses, and 58.5 thousand tons of granulated beet pulp.
In order to increase efficiency, the enterprise has developed a development strategy that will be in effect until 2030. The key focus of this strategy is on investments amounting to 5.4 billion rubles, which will be directed towards modernization and improvement of processing processes. The main emphasis will be on increasing productivity and reducing sugar losses.
