The agricultural holding "Miratorg" intends to build a breeding and seed production complex in the Kursk region worth 4.2 billion rubles. Within the framework of the SPIEF-2024, representatives of the regional government and the company's president Viktor Linnik signed a partnership agreement. The news about this was published in the Telegram channel of the acting governor Alexey Smirnov.
The project is planned to be completed by the end of 2025. During the construction of the breeding and seed production center, 30 jobs may be created. The plant's capacity will be 25 thousand tons of products annually.
Earlier, "Miratorg" had announced its plans to invest 4 billion rubles in the creation of a breeding and seed production center for the production of first-generation hybrids of corn and sunflower in the Kursk region in 2024. Additionally, it was planned to spend 3.2 billion rubles on the reconstruction of the subsequent processing point for agricultural animals.
