The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has instructed to start sowing winter wheat from September 6th and harvesting cotton from September 9th (in some regions) and September 15th (in Dashoguz region). The head of state emphasized the importance of organized implementation of these campaigns within the planned timeframe.

On August 31, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online government meeting on the socio-economic development of the country. The head of state ordered to start sowing winter wheat on September 6. This was reported by the news agency "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also instructed responsible persons to start picking cotton from September 9 in Akhal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayats, and from September 15 in Dashoguz. The President emphasized the importance of organizing these campaigns and on time.

In addition, the head of state heard a report from Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahallyev on the organization of work for the upcoming agricultural campaigns for sowing winter crops and picking cotton. The official noted that comprehensive measures are being taken to prepare the land, seed fund, special equipment and collection points. The Deputy Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that thematic seminars will be held with the participation of farmers, agronomists, scientists and machine operators.
