Agrarians of the region started sowing winter crops. As explained in the government of the Orenburg region, the optimal agrotechnical time has come for this.

– In the Orenburg region, sowing and harvesting are going on at the same time. The fleet of vehicles, stocks of seeds and fertilizers, fuel and lubricants - everything is enough for the normal course of campaigns. It is very important to carry out sowing qualitatively and in a timely manner. The current data on the harvest confirm the correctness of our decision to increase the winter wedge: today, out of 1.8 million tons of threshed grain, 1.3 million are winter crops, the harvesting of which is coming to an end, - Governor Denis Pasler emphasized.

Sowing was one of the first to start Akbulaksky, Krasnogvardeysky, Matveevsky, Novosergievsky, Oktyabrsky, Orenburgsky, Tashlinsky, Pervomaisky districts, Orenburg and Sorochinsky urban district.

In the region, the plan for winter crops is 1 million hectares. As of August 15, 14.2 thousand hectares have been sown. The largest areas are planned in the farms of Novosergievsky, Orenburg, Totsky, Tashlinsky and Buzuluksky districts.
