More than 6.5 thousand tons of buckwheat have been harvested in Belarus. This was reported to BelTA at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
As of August 31, more than 96% of harvested crops were harvested in Belarus: more than 97% of them are cereals and leguminous crops and 91% of rapeseed. In total, grains were threshed, taking into account rapeseed, 7015 thousand tons, including 6045 thousand tons of cereal and leguminous crops and 948 thousand tons of rapeseed.
Brest and Minsk regions have completed the harvesting of early cereal and leguminous crops.
The country's farms have begun harvesting cereals: more than 6.5 thousand tons of buckwheat, and about 6 thousand tons of millet, have been harvested.
Sowing of winter rapeseed for grain in Belarus has been completed. Also, all regions of the country have finished pulling flax. Work continues on harvesting flax straw, about 57 thousand tons have been harvested.
Straw after harvesting cereals and leguminous crops was removed by 65% of the mowed areas. The stubble was peeled by 15% of the harvested area.
The country's farms are harvesting potatoes. More than 30.5 thousand tons have been dug up. Productivity is about 383 c/ha. Harvested green mass of corn 1515 thousand tons.
