The export duty on wheat from Russia from June 28 to July 4 inclusive will decrease to 2473.3 rubles per ton, the export duty on barley will remain zero, on the export of corn it will decrease to 937.8 rubles per ton, follows from the data of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The export duty rate for wheat and meslin (a mixture of wheat and rye) was calculated at an indicative price of $244.4 per ton, for barley — at a price of $177.9, for corn — at a price of $204.9 per ton.
The duty on the export of wheat from Russia from June 21 to 27 inclusive is 2,612.9 rubles per ton, on the export of barley - zero, corn - 1,168.1 rubles per ton.
Russia has a flexible export duty on wheat, corn and barley, which operates under the grain damper mechanism. The calculation uses data on the price of export contracts listed on the stock exchange and the arithmetic average of the dollar against the ruble, set by the Bank of Russia five working days before the date of calculation.
From June 1, the Government of the Russian Federation raised the cut-off prices for duties on grain, which are used in the calculation formula, to 17 thousand rubles for wheat and meslin (from 15 thousand rubles), for barley and corn - up to 15.875 thousand rubles (it was 13.875 thousand rubles). The funds received go to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the form of subsidies to producers of wheat, rye, corn and fodder barley and are distributed depending on the volume of products produced.
