Prices for soybeans in Ukraine are rising due to limited supply and active exports.

Last week, soybean prices on the domestic market rose by 200-400 UAH/ton. Manufacturers were holding back sales, while exports surged to 125,000 tons in the first 10 days of October, compared to 41,000 tons in September.

On the previous week, there was an increase in prices on the domestic market for soybeans ranging from 200-400 UAH per ton.

According to information received from market participants, agricultural producers were delaying soybean sales, especially in large volumes. As a result, processors were forced to raise prices to acquire raw materials.

In addition, demand from exporters for soybeans was also at a high level, as shipments to foreign markets increased. However, export prices remained almost unchanged last week.

Just in the first 10 days of October, almost 125 thousand tons of soybeans were exported, compared to 41 thousand tons in September for the same period.
