The vestibules of AGROTRAY Concern enterprises have successfully completed the spring sunflower sowing operation, according to the company's press service, as reported on May 9th.
As clarified in detail, more than 12.5 thousand hectares in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions were allocated for this high-yielding oilseed crop.
"This year, we have actively started the sunflower sowing works, however, excessive rainfall significantly delayed this process. From time to time, it was necessary to completely halt fieldwork, and in order to catch up with the schedule, we had to bring in additional machinery. We managed to cope with the task, and now we will move on to caring for the planted plants to ensure a good harvest," noted Alexander Ovsianik, Director of the Agro-Industrial Department of AGROTRAY Concern.
The sowing of corn and soybeans on the company's farms is also being completed today, emphasized the press service.
