36 thousand tons of sugar produced in the Tikhoretsky district

As of September 1, Tikhoretsk farmers harvested 183,871 tons of sugar beets, Tikhoretskiye Vesti writes. Of this amount, 56.3 tons were collected by farmers, and 127.5 tons fell on large and small enterprises.

The average yield in this area was 511.2 centners per hectare, while the highest yield, equal to 573.2 centners per hectare, was shown by Premiera LLC.

In total, almost 184 thousand tons of beets were handed over for processing, and 36,063 tons of sugar have already been produced from it at the Tikhoretsky sugar plant.
