The data from the Eurasian Sugar Association shows that since the beginning of the 2024/25 season, 2.42 million tons of sugar have been produced in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, which is 132 thousand tons more than last year. It is projected that the total sugar production in the Union will reach 7.2 million tons, exceeding consumption by 7.13 million tons.

This is 132 thousand tons more than in 2023. Russia contributed 2,240 thousand tons, Belarus - 164.1 thousand tons, Kazakhstan - 7.3 thousand tons, and Kyrgyzstan - 12.2 thousand tons of sugar.

Considering the forecasts for sugar beet production and current quality indicators, it is expected that the total sugar production volume in the Eurasian Economic Union countries will reach 7.2 million tons, slightly exceeding the consumption of 7.13 million tons.
