Ishim peas went to China

The first batch of peas in the amount of 1.5 thousand tons was shipped by the Yubileiny agricultural holding to China.

The enterprise signed a contract for the processing of peas on a give-and-take basis. According to the press service of the company, 250 tons of pea isolate will be produced under the Proteinsib trademark. The agricultural holding is beginning to study the market for this type of product.

"Yubileyny" is building Russia's first plant for deep processing of peas "Proteinsib", the cost of which is estimated at 6.7 billion rubles, including with the attraction of credit funds from JSC "Rosselkhozbank". The design capacity of the plant is 70 thousand tons per year. Around the world, fourteen enterprises produce 1,200 thousand tons of processed peas per year. The implementation of the investment project in the Tyumen region will make it possible to take a grand step in the development of a new technology for our country to isolate proteins and starches from vegetable raw materials.

After putting a new enterprise into operation, the investor faces an equally difficult task - reaching full capacity. Typically, this process takes two to three years. To speed it up, the company is starting to study the pea isolate market right now. Currently, the design of the first and second stages of construction is being completed, and installation work is beginning.
