The condition of sunflower crops in Kazakhstan is mainly assessed as favorable and excellent, while the state of flax is considered favorable and acceptable. According to the Kazhydromet report in the second decade of August.

According to the report, during this period sunflowers in the fields of Abai, East Kazakhstan, and Pavlodar regions were at the flowering-ripening stage, and in the area of the Novoakhmirovo weather station in the East Kazakhstan region, they were at the ripening stage of harvesting.
