Development plans for the agro-industrial sector of the Russian Far East include new grain elevators, plants, and a Russian-Chinese agro-park.

In the Amur region and Primorsky Krai, new objects of agricultural infrastructure are planned: an elevator, a grain terminal, a plant for processing soybeans and rapeseed. The creation of a Russian-Chinese agro-park is also in the plans. The complexes are planned to be completed by 2027.

In the Amur Region, the commissioning of an elevator is planned, which will handle the transshipment of 3 million tons of grain per year. Also, in the Primorsky Territory, the construction of a soy processing plant and the creation of a Russian-Chinese agro-industrial park are planned. This was announced by the director of the Legendagro Group, Dmitry Savenkov, during the XVII Grain Conference.

In the Amur Region, a linear elevator with a capacity of 30,000 tons will be built. An agreement has also been reached with the government of the Primorsky Territory and the Far East Development Corporation to allocate a land plot in Sukhodol Bay for the construction of a specialized grain terminal. The project work has already begun, and the completion of the complex is planned by 2027.

But it's not just the elevator that will be built - a soy processing plant is also planned to be established to produce food products. Moreover, the development of Chinese manufacturing companies in Russia, the creation of a Russian-Chinese agro-industrial park is planned on this site. Currently, negotiations are underway on the project status, duties, and quotas for establishing a special regime between the agricultural ministries of China and Russia, the director of Legendagro said.

In addition, Dmitry Savenkov added that at the end of February 2024, the construction of a rapeseed processing plant began in Nazarovo, Krasnoyarsk Territory. The plant's capacity will be 450,000 tons of products per year, and its launch is scheduled for 2026.
