Kazakhstan has signed a series of commercial agreements with the Netherlands, including cooperation in agriculture.
In particular, representatives of the National Agrarian Science and Education Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Dutch company "VISCON" have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the construction of an innovative center for the production of healthy planting material using advanced artificial intelligence technologies.
"The implementation of this project will significantly increase the sustainability, quality, and yield of agricultural crops. The project will involve the use of advanced artificial intelligence technologies and in vitro cultivation methods. The project is planned to start between 2024 and 2026, with an annual production target of 12 million seedlings," as stated in the official message from KAZAKH INVEST.
Additionally, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan has entered into an agreement with the company "Royal GD" to enhance Kazakhstan's veterinary system. This project involves the modernization of the veterinary system to ensure the quality control of livestock products in line with international standards and create conditions for the export of Kazakh goods to Western markets.
Furthermore, a memorandum was signed between the Committee of State Inspection in Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the company "Naktuinbouw," aimed at improving the phytosanitary system and mutual support for accession to UPOV.
Another signed document is the Memorandum on the implementation of a project on carbon credit production in the Kyzylorda region. This project involves collaboration between the regional akimat, the Foundation for Biodiversity of Kazakhstan, and the company "DGB."
