Goods from the region were delivered by rail transport.
In April 2024, Rosselkhoznadzor in the Rostov, Volgograd, and Astrakhan regions, as well as the Republic of Kalmykia, controlled and processed 89 batches of sunflower seeds (3.9 thousand tons) intended for export to Latvia from the Volgograd region.
The products underwent necessary laboratory tests in accredited laboratories and met quality and safety standards according to the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the importing country.
The goods were dispatched from the region via rail transport in accordance with veterinary legislation.
