According to market experts, the State Food Procurement Agency of Egypt (GASC) has successfully completed auctions where 73 thousand tons of sunflower oil and 29 thousand tons of soybean oil were purchased.
Within this auction, 67 thousand tons of sunflower oil were contracted with four operators: Green Supplier (22 thousand tons), Aston Agro Industrial (18 thousand tons), Inter Grain (15 thousand tons), and Mahsul Trading (12 thousand tons). The price per ton was $1000, with delivery scheduled from June 26 to July 10 of the current year. Additionally, an additional 6 thousand tons of sunflower oil were purchased from the operator TOI at the same price, with delivery from June 10 to June 25.
As for soybean oil, it was purchased at $994 per ton. The operators Inter Grain (18 thousand tons), Green Supplier (6 thousand tons), and Posco (5 thousand tons) were selected to ensure oil deliveries from June 16 to July 10.
