Imaginary deposits

deposits in bank accounts, formed by the bank crediting funds to the client's account in the absence of a real source of money. The client uses an imaginary deposit in the same way as a real one: he can write checks, receive cash within the amount supposedly credited to the current account. Of course, the bank's ability to create imaginary deposits is determined by the amount of funds actually attracted by the bank, and the bank's consent to conduct the operation in question depends on the degree of its confidence in the client.
