Treasury bonds

medium- and long-term government securities, obligations placed on a voluntary basis among the population and certifying the contribution of its holder of funds to the state budget, due to which the owner of K.o. acquires the right to receive a fixed cash income for the entire period of holding the obligation. Income is paid annually on coupons or when the obligation is repaid by accruing interest on the nominal value of annual payments. Issued by treasuries for a period of 5 to 25 years, usually to the bearer (but there are also nominal ones); are marketable government securities. Issue K.o. carried out at face value, the income on them is paid on coupons. K.o. usually implemented among individuals. Non-marketable securities include treasury savings bonds issued for a period of 7-10 years. They are nominal and cannot be assigned.
