currency option

1) (English currency option) - a contract for the right to buy or sell a lot of currency during the contractual period and at a contractual price; 2) (English option of exchange) - the right to choose alternative options for the currency terms of the contract, related to the form, methods and place of payment. V.o is stipulated in the contract and provided to the relevant party to the transaction at a certain time or upon the occurrence of certain circumstances, which creates opportunities for currency arbitrage. The option follows from the currency terms of the transaction related to the form, methods and place of payment.
