According to AgRural experts, the safrinha corn harvest in Brazil was completed on 9.3% of the planned area as of June 25 (+4.6% per week), reports XM.

As noted, the main field work is being carried out in the state of Mato Grosso, but their pace is significantly inferior to last year, when in the same period the harvesting campaign in the region was already carried out on 20.3% of the area.

It is also noted that harvesting of safrinha corn has also begun in other states in the center and south of Brazil, but there are delays in work due to high levels of soil moisture.

Recall that, according to the forecast of AgRural experts, the harvest of safrinha corn in Brazil this year. should amount to 97.9 million tons, and the total grain harvest could reach 127.4 million tons.
