The grain reserves in Kazakhstan decreased by July: in 2024, the country had 6.16 million tons, compared to 7.84 million tons in 2023.

By July of the current year, Kazakhstan had 6.16 million tons of grain, including 5.02 million tons of wheat and 791 thousand tons of barley. The corn reserves reached 90 thousand tons. Compared to the previous year, grain reserves have slightly decreased.

By July of the current year, the Republic of Kazakhstan had 6.16 million tons of grain and leguminous crops (compared to 6.57 million tons on the same date in 2023 and 7.84 million tons on June 1, 2024).

As of the same date last year, wheat stocks were higher at 5.35 million tons, whereas now this figure stands at 5.02 million tons.

These data also indicate the presence of 791 thousand tons of barley in stock as of July 1 of the current year (compared to 874 thousand tons on July 1, 2023).

In addition, there are stocks of corn, which currently amount to around 90 thousand tons (compared to 75 thousand tons on July 1, 2023).
