In the Nikolaev region, the construction of a grain terminal is planned on the river territory with a daily capacity of 10 thousand tons of grain. Information about this project is posted on the "Dream Projects" internet resource of the Ministry of Recovery of Ukraine.
According to the project description, the terminal will accept grain from both road and rail transport, and then transport it to River-Sea class barges and Panamax class bulk carriers.
The planned terminal will have two lines for unloading grain from trucks using automatic unloaders, as well as one line for unloading grain from railway cars. Additionally, the terminal will have two grain cleaning machines and two continuous flow grain dryers of the shaft type for raw material processing.
Metal silos, intended for use in the terminal, will allow simultaneous storage of up to 40 thousand tons of grain, ensuring efficient batch formation for shipment.
Furthermore, the installation of transport systems with a throughput capacity of 300 to 500 tons per hour is planned at the terminal, ensuring continuous and timely grain loading onto vessels.
According to the project description, it is assumed that the construction of the facility will take approximately 24 months.
