According to the latest data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, as of September 26, more than 7.95 million hectares of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested in Ukraine, which is 72% of the planned area of 11.116 million hectares. The total grain harvest amounted to 34.288 million tons with an average yield of about 43.1 c/ha.

By September 28 last year, about 30.47 million tons of grain had been harvested from an area of about 6.972 million hectares, which was 64% of the forecasted area. The average yield was 43.6 c/ha.

Currently, the harvesting of late grain crops is ongoing. In particular, corn has been harvested from 920.7 thousand hectares (23%), with a total harvest of 4.72 million tons at a yield of 51.3 c/ha. Buckwheat has been harvested from 78.3 thousand hectares (88%), with a total harvest of 115.5 thousand tons at a yield of 14.7 c/ha. Millet has been harvested from 77.7 thousand hectares (84%), with a total harvest of 147.75 thousand tons at a yield of 19 c/ha.

Updated data on wheat harvest is also available - an expected harvest of 22.327 million tons, and barley - 5.536 million tons.

Oilseeds are also being harvested. As of the specified date, sunflower had been harvested from 3.268 million hectares (66% of the plan) with a total harvest of about 6.659 million tons at a yield of 20.4 c/ha. Rapeseed had been harvested from 1.266 million hectares (100%), with a total harvest of 3.457 million tons at a yield of 27.3 c/ha. Soybeans had been harvested from 1.646 million hectares (62%), with a total harvest of 3.504 million tons at a yield of 21.3 c/ha.

The harvesting of sugar beets is also ongoing. By September 26, it had been harvested from an area of 51.8 thousand hectares (20% of the planned area) with a total harvest of 2.459 million tons at a yield of 475.1 c/ha.
