Foreign experts were presented with detailed information about the activities of the Federal Center for Animal Health. They received information about a wide range of veterinary drugs produced by the center and familiarized themselves with the organization of the production laboratory building and the logistics complex (finished product warehouse).

During the meeting, it was noted that the volumes of vaccine production developed by the Federal State Budgetary Institution "All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for Animal Health" are increasing annually. Over the past year, the production of products has increased by more than three times and currently amounts to over 8 million doses.

The institution's staff provided detailed information to foreign guests about the production of vaccines against contagious nodular dermatitis (CND), sheep and goat pox, rinderpest, and avian influenza - diseases that pose a serious threat to countries in the Middle East.

Representatives of the Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Iraq and the company "Aqsa Al-Madina Co." expressed readiness to purchase drugs for the prevention of the mentioned diseases. The parties agreed to carry out additional registration of vaccines against avian influenza and optimize the composition of the rinderpest vaccine by including the SAT-1 virus in it due to the threat of its spread from neighboring countries.
