The representative of the Justice and Development Party, Omer Celik, announces that the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, intends to hold talks with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin regarding the grain deal before its expiration on July 17. This was announced in a statement by RBC.

Celik emphasized that the relationship between Russia and Turkey remains stable, despite some issues. In addition, Erdogan plans to discuss issues of prisoner exchange with Ukraine.

However, the exact date of the meeting is currently unknown. The President of Russia has expressed the possibility of suspending participation in the agreement and has set some demands, including the reconnection of Rosselkhozbank to SWIFT and the cancellation of several restrictions.
