According to the latest data from Rosstat, over the past year, prices for most types of cereals from manufacturers have significantly increased.
The most significant price growth over the year was seen in pearl barley, the cost of which rose by 28% compared to March 2024, and buckwheat, which became 24% more expensive. At the same time, buckwheat and rice, the main types of cereals consumed in Russia, noticeably decreased in price by 6% and 12% respectively.
