The elevator is a facility for storing large batches of own and customer-owned grain and bringing it to a conditioned state, namely, achieving certain parameters of humidity, weediness, etc. When accepting grain, its quality is assessed, and if the quality is lower than the calculated one, the test weight of the accepted grain is considered less than the actual one according to a certain calculation method (because as a result of subsequent drying and underworking of the grain, its weight will inevitably decrease). Thus, quantitative and qualitative accounting of grain is carried out at the elevators.
